چکیده
In this study, CaO/SiO2 composites were prepared from rice husk silica (RH-SiO2) and limestone a local company. The with different mass ratios of CaO to SiO2 (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:5, 1:10) synthesized using the sol-gel technique characterized XRF, XRD, SEM. then used as catalysts for transesterification palm oil, main purpose investigate effect catalyst compositions on percentage conversion oil. results XRD SEM confirm existence RH-SiO2 an amorphous material, crystalline while are mixture phases. in experiments oil was calculated. To successful into fatty acid methyl esters, products reactions analyzed GC-MS. experimental demonstrated that exhibit catalytic activity, highest (60%) achieved ratio 1:3.

Production of Silica Nanoparticles from Rice Husk as Agricultural Waste by Environmental Friendly Technique
Extensive application of silica nanoparticles (SNPs) in various industrial products has led to the development of silica extraction methodologies out of various waste products. Rice husk is an agricultural waste with a high content of amorphous silica. However, the presence of metal ion impurities and unburned carbon in the rice husk content may present an adverse effect on product color and pu...
متن کاملStudy regarding the Transesterification of Palm Oil
In this paper the transesterification of palm oil with methanol in the presence of NaOH as a catalyst was conducted in an experimental biodiesel installation. The kinetics of base-catalyzed transesterification of palm oil based on parameters such as oil and alcohol ratio, catalyst concentration and temperature were investigated to optimize the biodiesel production rate. Although, transesterific...

A novel synthesis of triazolo[1,2-a]indazole-1,3,8-trione derivatives by reaction of urazole, dimedone and aromatic aldehydes under conventional heating and microwave irradiation and solvent-free conditions using silica nanoparticles prepared from rice husk ash as catalyst is described. The new method features high yields, multicomponent reactions and environmental friendliness.
متن کاملNanocellulose from Rice Husk following Alkaline Treatment to Remove Silica
The present work deals with the use of multiple-step procedures to obtain valuable sub-products, including nanocellulose, from rice husk. Each sub-product was characterized after every step by analyzing the chemical composition (mainly based on thermogravimetric analysis, Fourier transformed infrared spectra, and X-ray diffraction) and morphology (using visual observations and scanning electron...
متن کاملRemoval of Surfactants from wastewater by Rice Husk
Surfactants are one of the major components (10- 18%) of detergents and household cleaning products and are used in high volumes in developed countries. In the present research work, the ability of rice husk as a low cost adsorbent for anionic and nonionic surfactants in wastewater has been studied. The maximum removal efficiency for anionic surfactants was 97%, in an aqueous solu...
